Social care and health is a people-intensive sector. Whilst technology and science will always make significant contributions to how we provide care, the essential tasks are carried out by people, for people.
The Government has launched an extended consultation, providing public and stakeholders the opportunityy to say what they think should be in the National Autism Stratgey for England, due to be launched later this year.

Working to Put People First: The Strategy for the Adult Social Care Workforce in England provides a framework to support the transformation of the adult social care workforce.
The Government Green Paper on care and support reform in England will be published in June, it had been confirmed.
The timing was announced as part of Chancellor of the Exchequer Alistair Darling’s 2009 Budget.
