Shaping the future of care together

Green Paper front cover

In July, the Government published Shaping the Future of Care Together, beginning the first ever national debate on the reform of adult care and support in England.

The Big Care Debate consultation ended on 13th November 2009.

The document spells out a vision for a National Care Service, the options for reform, and how the new system could be organised and paid for. The Government invited everybody to comment on the reform options and say which ones they would like to see adopted.
